Cape Cod Gateway Airport
Mary Dunn Way Extension
The Cape Cod Gateway Airport (HYA) is a public use commercial and general aviation airport located on Cape Cod. The airport acts as a hub for flights to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. The airport has regularly scheduled operations by Cape Air and seasonal operations by JetBlue Airways and American Airlines.
For further airport development along Taxiway B, Mary Dunn Way needed to be extended for future hangar development. ASG worked with the airport to design and construct an extension to Mary Dunn Way and create marketing graphics to promote building new hangars.
The project scope of work included the following elements:
• Reconstruction of Mary Dunn Way approx. (1000′ x 24′)
• Construction of Mary Dunn Way Extension approx (2900′ x 24′)
• Extend underground utilities and drainage
• Installation of roadway markings and signs
• Creation of Marketing Graphics
ASG was responsible for completing the design and construction/project management for this $5.2M construction project.
