Runway 15-33 Reconstruction
The Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport (BAF) is a joint civil-military airport located in Western
Massachusetts. The airport serves as the home to the 104th Fighter Wing, as well as Gulfstream’s Northeast service center. The Runway 15-33 reconstruction project was designed to reconstruct the runway as the last reconstruction of the runway took place over 40 years ago.
The project scope of work included the following elements:
• Reconstruction of Runway 15-33 (approx. 5,000’ x 100’)
• Grooving Runway 15-33
• Installation of runway pavement markings
ASG was responsible for completing the design and construction/project management for this $7.6M construction project.
